A youth-led movement, not just an organisation

Project हम (Project Hum) is a youth-led social initiative founded on a simple belief: meaningful change begins with human connection. We focus on the small moments that leave lasting impact — an afternoon with children, a conversation with the elderly, a shared act of compassion.

Every drive we organise is designed not simply to provide support, but to build relationships and remind people that no one should feel forgotten. We are powered by young people who believe age is never a barrier to meaningful change, and that even the smallest acts of kindness can create a ripple effect.

How It Started

Our Story

Project हम was founded in 2026 by Reet S. Ghavri and Mehnoor Mahal, inspired by a shared belief that meaningful change begins with genuinely showing up for people — and that emotional well-being matters as much as material support.

Rather than waiting for the perfect opportunity, they began with what they had: an idea, a sense of responsibility, and the determination to bring together other young people who shared the same vision. What started small has grown into a youth-led movement driven by compassion, collaboration, and purposeful action.

The principle that shaped our beginning remains unchanged: impact isn't defined by the scale of an action, but by the intention behind it and the lives it touches.

Co-Founder

Reet co-founded Project हम with the belief that meaningful change begins with consistent action. She leads the organization's vision, strategic planning, partnerships, and operations, helping build a youth-led community committed to creating lasting social impact through compassion, responsibility, and service.

Mehnoor Mahal

Co-Founder

Driven by empathy and a vision for social change, Mehnoor co-founded Project हम to build a youth-led community committed to meaningful action. She helps shape the organization's initiatives, community outreach, and collaborations, strengthening its mission of compassion, responsibility, and service.

Creative Lead

As Creative Lead, Ronit Thakur shapes Project हम's visual identity and digital presence through impactful design, content, and storytelling. He leads the organization's creative initiatives, ensuring every campaign and communication reflects its mission with clarity, consistency, and purpose.

Paavni Khaneja

Finance Coordinator

As Finance Coordinator, Paavni oversees Project हम's budgeting and financial planning, supporting the organization in managing its resources effectively. She works closely with the team to track expenses, maintain transparent records, and ensure every rupee spent aligns with the organization's goals and its commitment to responsible, sustainable growth.
